CECT P168 - iPhone Clone
by Sze | Filed under Mobile Phone, Smartphone.
You probably have heard of the Meizu MiniOne, which is an Apple iPhone clone (though the specification is better). Here is another iPhone clone from China, the CECT P168.
The CECT P168 looks really like the iPhone, even the wallpaper has been copied. The CECT P168 has a 3.5-inch QVGA LCD touchscreen, a 2 Megapixel camera (actual resolution: 1.3 Megapixel). It has integrated music player, video player, dictionary.
The CECT P168 has two SIM card slot, unfortunately you can’t use the two SIMs at the same time but have to switch between them.

I want to get some feedback on this phone prior to ordering. Is it worth it? Does it work well on T-Mobile? Does the services and features all work on the phone for the carrier - sms, pic messg, internet accesss, etc. From my experience an unlocked phone does not necessarily mean all ftrs offered by the company will function. Thaks for any input. What is the biggest problem have you had with the phone?

ok i have had this phone for months now its great if you wanna set a song as a ringtone while its in the media player before you select play open the options and go to add to ringtone list or whatever it says. the cams good phone calls always works just depends on your service provider and if you have reflashed the firware and if the phones unlocked also you have to make sure your phone settings are configured right its not a pos it does everything the iphone does and its 400 dollars cheaper then getting an unlocked i phone

Bon - not the icon in line at the bottom. When you are on a call, there is a little green phone on the touchscreen. that is the one.
Check your network settings to be sure that you are set for 850/1800/1900 service area. You should even be able to select 850/1900 so it does not have to search.

Diane - Thanks for the reply, those icons at the bottom will work while off line, but will not work while online with other phone. Also, I was going through the phone settings last night, and now I am getting disconnected within couple of seconds whether I call out or receive a call in. Any help is appreciated.

Bon - all you have to do is touch the small phone icon in the middle of the bottom of the screen and the dial will appear again.
