Billy Chasen

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Billy worked as a software engineer at FactSet for two years. He then decided to take his part-time freelancing full-time.

Billy worked on developing websites that ranged from helping amazon.com to vh1 to Meow Mix.

He currently takes classes at the Art Student's League in painting, welding and takes glass blowing classes in Brooklyn. He usually incorporates technology either directly or figuratively into his pieces. He is fascinated with the merging of old classical ideas and our most modern inventions.

Seth Goldstein

Seth is an advocate for user in control data services and a thought-leader in the emerging Attention Economy.

His new company AttentionSoft creates complementary services that turn attention into media including AttenTV, Trakzor, and AttentionBank (formerly Root Vaults).

He co-founded the influential user-rights organization AttentionTrust.org in 2005 and has been promoting its principles ever since at conferences such as PC Forum, ETech and the recent Open Data 2007 with Reuters.

For the previous ten years, Seth created successful businesses beginning in 1995 with SiteSpecific, one of the first Internet advertising agencies, acquired in 1997 by CKS Group. He was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Flatiron Partners from 1998-2000. In 2002 Seth founded Majestic Research based on the premise that rigorous analysis of online behavior would lead to better investment research. In 2005 he created Root Markets, the first financial exchange for Internet leads, with Lewis Ranieri.

John Borthwick

John recently started up a company called betaworks that serves as a platform for projects he is incubating and investing in. John is also CEO of Fotolog, the 26th largest web site in the world, according to that Alexa thing.

Prior to betaworks John was Senior VP of Technology and Alliances at Time Warner. John worked with the executive team at Time Warner corporate and the divisional CTO's to drive technology deals and strategy across the company.

Before Time Warner, John started a company that was acquired in 1994 by AOL. They developed a series of sites, including Total New York (one of the first local city guides), ada 'web (an art related site dedicated to ada lovelace) and spanker (a pre blog, daily journal of the occasionally twisted mind of Carter Adamson).

He's done early stage investments with Blogger, Fotolog, Return Path, Daylife, im in like with you, Ideeli, Outside.in, Social Science, MyWebOS, divmod, Lending Tree and DOWNFLY!

Brad Reifler

Brad is a founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of Pali Capital, Inc., a NASD member firm. Pali was acquired by the Euram Group in 2001.

In 1982 he founded Reifler Trading Corporation, a firm engaged in the execution of global derivatives, which was sold to Refco, Inc. in 2000.

In 1992, Brad founded Reifler Capital Management, a commodity pool advisor focused on commodity-based and foreign exchange trading strategies.

From 1995 until 2000, Brad managed Refco, Inc.'s Institutional Sales Desk where he was responsible for sales and execution of global derivatives, foreign exchange, and creating custom investment programs for institutional and high net worth clients.

Brad has served on multiple boards and advisory boards, including the European American Investment Bank; Majestic Research; Foresight Research Solutions; Genesis Securities; Root Markets; is a Trustee of the Millbrook School and is on the Finance Committee of the Dutchess Day School.

Brad received his degree from Bowdoin College, and his regulatory licenses include Series 3, 7, 24, and 63.

Brad resides in Millbrook, New York with his wife and three children.
